If needed, the player can trade useful items with them. The map shows the townspeople wandering the streets of Darkwood. There are 4 types of puzzles in the game: Mosaic, Ancient Cards, Haunted Lights and Treasure Box. The player can also solve puzzles, which give various rewards. Anomalies include Gargoyle, Reflection, Darki Entitites, Time Shift and Hoarfrost. In-game phenomena called "Anomalies" appear randomly in locations and makes the process of finding hidden objects more complex. Locations in the game cost energy points per entry and have different modes – texts, silhouettes, night mode, matching pairs, morphing objects and anagrams. Exploring locations and finding hidden objects is Seeker’s main activity. The player navigates the city using a magical map that displays locations. The player controls the main character who is referred to as “Seeker.” By exploring locations and solving puzzles, the player helps the townspeople uncover the mystery of the cursed city.
